The green of our community preserves the environment in our residences and offices clean. People come together to protect our global ecosystem in the global element of green living. Our private health needs to have an organic supplement program. Everybody needs a combination of trace elements, minerals, vitamins, and enzymes for battling disease, and remain healthy.
Since people get toxic substances in the food, air, and water, a detoxification program is a prerequisite for Good Health. Also to stay healthy a good diet program of organically grown food is a necessity. In addition to having more nutrients, organic food (plant and animal) has fewer toxins in it. As more and more people understand how food affects the body, it is becoming easier to go green. That is actually why there is more demand for organic food, and thus a lot more places sell organic foods. The cleaner the food that people consume, the better the health they will have. Nearby organic food is most effective because some of the nutrition is lost in the travel from place to place.
Why not try to eat organically for a few days and then see if you detect a difference when you switch back to non organic food? Drinking green water is important as is consuming green food. Thoroughly clean drinking water is required for good health. Both chlorine and also fluoride compromise the grade of our drinking water. Many distinct drug residues have likewise polluted our drinking water. ”Cradles of culture, gardens of civilization”: Elementary schooling in Germany, 1900–1914. $49.99 This dissertation examines the elementary schools of late Imperial Germany as agents of socialization and “civilization” and arbiters of morals and manners, health and hygiene, that changed relations between the family, the community, and the state. Using the official regulations surrounding the schools, scholars have embedded the elementary school (Volksschule) in a master narrative of German history. This so-called Sonderweg neglects the lived experiences of the schools with all their attendant diversity, complexity, and conflict. Beginning inside the elementary school itself, this study argues that the impact of education was open ended and multifaceted. The state remained present and powerful at the Volksschule but schooling was also a social phenomenon, enmeshed in a web of shifting cultural and communal relations. Not only did government ministers determine educational policies and practices, so too did a variety of social groups as well as the Protestant and Catholic churches. There is no better indication of the diversity of German schools than the absence of a national education ministry before 1934.;This study takes an ethnographic approach to its subject, showing how the school’s rituals and rules, hierarchy of age and grade, splintering of information into separate subjects, and division of boys and girls, Protestants and Catholics, shaped the pupil’s ways of seeing and knowing. Focusing on Prussia and Saxony, it uses textbooks, lesson plans, the pedagogical press, didactic literature, memoirs, and school journals (Schukhroniken) to illustrate the ways in which the Volksschule and its teachers mediated ideas about the family, community, and the nation. Moral messages on cleanliness, thrift, punctuality, obedience, and order accompanied portraits of the Kaisers and patriotic texts. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Peer-led versus Adult-led school based HIV/AIDS education approaches. The primary data utilized in this study was collected in Mafeteng district in the Kingdom of Lesotho. This study comprised 180 youth participants attending two rural high schools. This quasi-experimental study comprised a multivariate hypothesis: (1) Controlling for age, gender, grade, school, and students who participate in a Peer-led education training group will have higher knowledge of HIV/AIDS and demonstrate more pro-abstinent attitude toward sexual behavior than students in Adult-Led group.;Analysis of covariance revealed that the type of training (Peer-Led versus Adult-Led) revealed a borderline and statistically significant effect. Peer-Led education had a slightly higher mean score of knowledge of HIV/AIDS at post-test than students in Adult-Led training. The effect size was, however, small. In addition to the educational training effect, student gender had a significant interactive effect with school onto student knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Academic and non-academic factors associated with retention of undergraduate college students. $49.99 The purpose of this study was to critically analyze both academic and nonacademic factors that may influence retention of health science students and the potential for future effective admission strategies beyond cognitive admission standards. The health science professions are fortunate to attract intelligent, competitive applicants to the professional programs. However, applicants may not possess the emotional intelligence skills to be interpersonally competent, caring healthcare providers. College institutions have only recently begun acknowledging the value of noncognitive criteria in admissions and student retention of beginning undergraduate students. The purpose of this correlational and comparative research study was to test a hypothesized model about students’ sociodemographic characteristics, emotional intelligence skills, and academic performance. A randomly selected sample of 109 undergraduate health science students in the College of Health and Human Services at Indiana University — Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) participated in this study. The online Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i) research instrument and a researcher-designed online Student Profile sociodemographic questionnaire were used for this study. Results of psychometric analyses indicated estimates of reliability and validity related to the EQ-i. Respondents’ sociodemographic characteristics: gender, age, student enrollment status, class standing, and organizational and volunteer activity were predictive variables of their emotional intelligence skills. Male students scored higher on most of the emotional intelligence scales. Students’ 34 to 45 years of age scored significantly higher in total EQ, stress management, and general mood scales. Students who were enrolled full-time had significantly higher total EQ scores than the students enrolled part-time. The students’ emotional intelligence scores were predictive variables with their academic performance (grade point average). |
